I’ve spent a great deal of time and money at the dentist this year. Even if I had dental insurance, it would have covered very little. Perhaps the cleaning and checkup.
- Diagnose, cleaning and x-rays = $530
- CAT-scan and wisdom teeth surgery = $1400
- Fillings Round #1 = $413
- Filling replacement Round #1 = $480
And next Friday;
- Filling replacement Round #2 = $ ?
I just keep think to myself about what other things I could have done with that huge sum of money!!!
So far, $2823 could have done so much….
- Paid for 5 graduate-level classes in cash
- Paid the adoption fee for 80 cats at the local shelter, thus saving their lives.
- 6 months of rent for the apartment
- 940 gallons of gasoline
- 94 pairs of movie tickets.
- 47 Xbox 360 games for Andrew
- A top-of-the-line laptop each for me, Andrew and the cat
- In May, a 7 Day Mexican Riviera cruise in a luxury suite for me and Andrew (And still have money to spend!)
- A 7 Day Western Caribbean curse in a normal cabin THEN a 8 Day Bahama cruise.
Is the quality of my smile really worth these things… I’ll have to think about it!
